Summer in the City

Harper Collins NYC have commissioned a series of artworks from Ruby Taylor to package one of their key releases of the summer

When Elsie Lyons, the wonderful Senior Art Director at Harper Collins New York got in touch early last year to commission Ruby Taylor it was the start of a really great collaboration that not only saw Ruby create the cover artwork, but also endpaper maps and some additional packaging assets for cases and book-edges that really took this new release to a different level.

The book has been picked up internationally at a rate we’ve rarely experienced and even graced the monumental media boards of Times Square. The four special editions each have bespoke sprayed edges, foil and individualised New York street maps, so next time you’re in a bookshop, keep your eyes peeled for some hot pink!
