CIA artist Aitch has created a bonkers gift design for Lush, linked to a spa treatment that’s accompanied by a folk music soundtrack - well of course it is!
That’s the beauty of a life in commercial art, you really never do know what’s going to land in your lap next. On this occasion it was a magical mushroom packaging brief from the ubiquitous hand-made cosmetics company and we caught up with Aitch to find out how it went.
“I had a fun time working on the illustrated Lush musical tin box. The design was meant to feel like a magical mushroom in a whimsical, Spring setting. The base of the tin was imagined as a little house nestled in a joyful garden, bringing warmth and a sense of wonder with the illuminated little door and windows. Delicate details, like the graceful features of a deer and a playful bunny, added to the enchanting atmosphere, making the piece feel like a tiny world of its own. Seeing it all come together as a tangible keepsake was superrewarding!”
