A Flying Start

Many of you will be familiar with Brian Grimwood's work, a true heavyweight of illustration with an enviable artistic career. We've been enjoying his recent process exploring the possibilities that his pen flourishes can portray on an ipad. His latest portfolio  update has been a true delight to consider, with Brian's classic inky style paired alongside his progressive, more abstract digital work that find it's home in packaging and poster art.

Take a look  and enjoy!

The Good Guys

Good Wives & Warriors are the new “face” of I+M cosmetic, an organic, vegan, fair-player, plant powered & do-gooder German brand. Hard to do better. Each illustration communicates the political and sustainable values of the brand using a spirit animal to capture the different aspects of what beauty can mean and floral elements of their natural, plant-based ingredients. Powerful illustrations for a powerful brand.

Sugar?

Warm up with Rose Blake’s illustration, the artist behind Caffè Nero Christmas cup design. Bold & playful, Rose’s work always tell us beautiful stories with elements of humour.

“The inspiration for the festive cup design was just the idea of having a really fun festival party, fuelled by delicious cake an coffee. I was firstly briefed by the design agency about the tone and feel of illustration, then I sent them a rough coloured sketch. From that I worked up the final drawing in Photoshop.” Rose B.

Inspired by the company’s history and values, Jitesh’s illustration depicts the melting pot of dreams, ideas and creativity that have come together to make Blue Moon into the brand it is today. You can also notice the undulating lines representing the team’s travels across America, marking the beginning of the Blue Moon’s story as a road trip across America, steering towards international success.
