Greenwich

Home to the Meridian Line, Cutty Sark, the Royal Observatory, the National Maritime Museum, the Old Royal Naval College including the fabulous Painted Hall, London’s cable car, Greenwich Market, Greenwich Park and The O2 arena - Jitesh Patel can map it all. He's king of the map, taking his moleskin wherever he goes and documenting cities intricacies and skylines. We fancy a jaunt to Greenwich now, that's for sure.

Takes Two, To Mango

It take two to make a thing go ri-iiight. Actually it doesn't, it only takes one talented hand-drawn type artist (amongst other illustrative abilities) known as Sarah J Coleman or Inky Mole to get you all in a summery spin. Typography for Wild Bean cafe with TBWA Manchester for a tropical summer campaign. We'd like some of this mango business please!

Uijung Kim

Uijung Kim is possibly the cheeriest person we've ever had the pleasure of meeting. Now based in Brooklyn NY, her works is inspired by her travels and from her childhood in South Korea, where food, family, friends, fashion and a whole tonne of fun come into play. If you aren't stifling a giggle of delight whilst looking through her folio, you'll get your money back! It's an honour to welcome Uijung to the CIA Roster.

Eat Less Meat

Harry Tennant's latest illustration for Liberation France for an interesting article about human's dominance over animals throughout history. A rather beautiful way to preach about eating less meat and moderate our greed! We think there's a lot to be said for moderative living - thanks guys!

Fresh Mangoes

It's summer, sure, it's hot, sure, but instead of reaching his cursive palms and dexterous fingers towards a variety of tantalizing ice creams, David Holmes has chosen to flirt with his paintbrush. He's been illustrating mangoes and by golly do they look like the freshest fruit around. I think we'll take from this discursive post that our next snack will be mango fingers!

Orchid Land

Whooli Chen for ELLE Taiwan, June issue 2017. An editorial piece on illustrators’ homeland girls. Whooli's hometown is Yilan, a countryside on northeast Taiwan. The delicately painted illustration features Yilan’s local fruits and well-known orchids in this area. A truly charming insight into Whooli's world.

Estrella Party

We've never seen such a sassy and strong woman and it's all down to Lynnie Zulu and her bold painterly magic. Collaborating with Estrella for their launch of the short film The Little Things, Lynnie helps to depict the important things in life at the launch party for the well known drinks brand. It's important to raise a glass (or a bottle) from time to time.

Yoga at the Bar?

Paul Oakley depicts the calmest yoga barman we've ever seen for the new year issue of imbibe magazine. We're bringing him out now as a 'throwback' to make you all consider your new years resolutions, How cruel. But mostly because our office is getting pretty good at the yoga / pilates classes so we wanted to toast an illustrated cocktail to our limber studio team! Of course we've always been able to balance a glass no problem, sometimes more than one...
